Orientation & interpretation design

Interpretation graphic design and production for a selection of arts, culture and heritage clients.

Hauser & Wirth

The internationally renowned gallery Hauser & Wirth invited The Co-Foundry to help realise its founders’ vision for the signage on its flagship Somerset site, making it more friendly and accessible to all who visit.

Our team attended a workshop with Year 6 pupils from nearby Bruton Primary School. The children were encouraged to explore the purpose of symbols and signs before developing images to communicate important information to gallery visitors.

Following this workshop, we selected a range of images from the children’s work and used them to design a new information board for the entrance of the gallery. As well as showcasing the creativity of local schoolchildren, the work reflects Hauser & Wirth’s ongoing commitment to education and community outreach.
